Green agenda

At danfloor/ulster, we have prepared a green agenda outlining and detailing our commitment to preserving the environment.

We see minimising the effects of production on the outdoor environment as our responsibility. We monitor our carbon footprint at every stage of the process, starting with sourcing raw materials through the production until the finished carpet is fitted at the client’s location.

We optimise our working processes and manufacturing methods and we ensure that our flooring solutions meet consumer and contractor requirements and expectations.

Where environmental issues are concerned, danfloor/ulster prioritises the following:

• strong relationships with public authorities to ensure we meet legislative requirements and regulations at all times
• ongoing investment in eco-friendly improvements and relevant staff training
• minimising energy consumption by investing in the newest technology
• minimising waste and using recycled materials
• safe waste disposal – including recycling
• using suppliers who can document equally high environmentally friendly standards

The priorities listed above ensure that danfloor/ulster continually strives towards minimising any adverse effects on the environment through manufacturing processes.
